Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual who has studied or is currently studying dentistry to join our dental practice as a Dental Assistant. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dental team to provide high-quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during dental procedures, sterilizing and preparing dental instruments, taking and developing dental X-rays, maintaining patient records, and providing exceptional patient care and support.

Requirements:

• Currently studying dentistry or have completed a dental degree
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental practice
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficient in using dental software and computer systems
• A friendly and compassionate attitude towards patients
• Willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative dental team

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental X-rays as instructed by the dentist
• Prepare and maintain dental treatment rooms
• Assist with patient management, including seating patients, obtaining medical histories, and explaining dental procedures
• Provide oral hygiene instructions and post-operative care to patients
• Maintain accurate and updated patient records
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Provide excellent patient care and support
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure the highest standard of dental care
